Dr. Rima Abdul Razzaq is a professor of Physiology who obtained her BSc. degree at the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 1988, then a PhD in Physiology at the University of Southampton in 1992. She has taught all fields of Physiology for the past 30 years to medical, medical sciences and to master’s students. Her other academic roles within the problem-based (PBL) setting include PBL tutoring, chairing PBL and coordinating a few PBL problems. She also encourages innovation in education and accommodation of new teaching methods and technologies such as integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the medical curriculum for training the next generation of doctors.
She has also undertaken some administrative roles, such as chairing the Physiology department at AGU for 5 years and has been appointed as the Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at AGU last academic year.
Dr. Sharifa Alghowinem

With an expertise in multimodal AI, Dr. Sharifa Alghowinem models human behaviors using advanced AI frameworks. With a teaching background at the University of
